Features – Map View

Map View Lets You See Every Location You Track, Color-Coded on One Map

See every market’s ranking health on one map, color-coded from strong to invisible, before you open a single report.

A list of hundreds of scans tells you everything, and nothing.

The default view is a list. You can sort it, filter it, search it, but you still have to know what you’re looking for before you go looking. For an agency managing multiple markets, or a multi-location business tracking every branch, that means opening projects one at a time to find the ones actually in trouble.

How it works

1

Every scan loads onto the map automatically

No setup, no manual pinning. It’s already there the moment you open Map View.

2

Color and number tell the story first

Each marker shows that business’s Average Rank, and the color tells you at a glance whether it needs attention.

3

Zoom in to split any cluster

Nearby locations group together until you zoom close enough to see each one on its own.

See your whole portfolio on one map instead of opening every project by hand.

Why this matters for how you actually work

Stop opening projects one at a time

With hundreds of scheduled scans, checking each individually isn’t a workflow, it’s a full day. Map View turns that into one glance.

Spot the pattern, not just the outlier

A cluster of red markers in one region tells you something a single bad score never can: a service area gap, a new competitor, or a market you’ve under-invested in.

Prioritize by what the map shows you

The businesses that need work are visually obvious before you’ve read a single row of data.

This is an agency and multi-location tool. A single-location business gets more out of that business’s own GeoGrid heatmap.

Map View vs. a GeoGrid scan

Same underlying data, two different zoom levels.

GEOGRID SCAN

Street-level detail, one business

Hundreds of grid points across one business’s own service area, so you can see rank variation block by block. Answers: “where in this service area am I weak?

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Map View in Local Dominator?

Map View is a geographic overview of every scan, campaign, and location in your account, plotted on a single interactive map. Each business appears as a color-coded marker showing its current Average Rank, so you can see your entire portfolio’s ranking health at a glance instead of opening projects one at a time.

The number is the business’s Average Rank. Green means strong visibility, yellow to orange means average and worth a look, red means poor visibility, and gray marked 20+ means the business isn’t ranking in the top 20 at all. Locations that sit close together cluster into one marker until you zoom in.

A GeoGrid scan shows street-level rank detail within one business’s service area. Map View zooms out to show every business in your account at once, one marker each, so you can see which businesses need attention before you dig into any single one’s GeoGrid data.

Map View is included wherever GeoGrid Rank Tracker is included, on every paid plan (Lite, Advance, and Pro). There’s no separate cost, no add-on, and nothing to set up, it’s already built into your Grid Scan dashboard.

See your whole portfolio on one map instead of opening every project by hand.
