You can create an AI Tracker campaign by clicking “+ New Campaign” in your dashboard and completing the four-step setup wizard. This tool monitors how your business appears when people search for your industry across six major AI engines, including ChatGPT and Gemini.
π― Who is this for?
This tool is for business owners and managers who want to track their visibility across AI search platforms. You use it to identify if your business is mentioned by AI models, measure your appearance frequency, and analyze your AI-driven competitors.

- Up to 10 search topics.
- Active scan credits. (You can review how Local Dominator’s credit system works to verify your balance.)
β³ Time to complete

How to Set Up Your Campaign
Follow the four-step setup wizard to configure your campaign and launch your first scan. You provide your business information, select search topics, review the system-generated prompts, and trigger the AI engine analysis to monitor your visibility across platforms.
- Open the Wizard: Click the + New Campaign button on the main Campaigns page.
- Enter Business Info: Input your Business Name, Domain, and Location. Select your target AI Engines and choose your schedule: On-Demand, Weekly, or Monthly.
- Add Topics: Enter up to 10 topics in the text box. Assign an intent type (Informational, Transactional, Commercial, or Navigational) to categorize the keywords based on user goals.
- Review Prompts: The system generates prompts based on your topics. You can edit, delete, or add new prompts manually. Check Run now and click Save & Run Now.
- Wait for the Scan: The scan runs in the background. A progress bar appears on the campaign page to track completion.
Understanding Your Campaign Dashboard
Your campaign dashboard displays your key performance indicators, visibility graphs, and detailed data tabs. You can use these distinct sections to analyze your overall Visibility Score, track brand mentions over time, and review the specific AI engine responses to your custom search prompts.
Click your campaign name in the list to open the details page and explore the following dashboard components.
- Top KPI Cards: These display your Visibility Score, total brand Mentions, Average Position, and a Delta indicator showing changes versus the previous scan.
- Visibility Over Time Graph: This chart maps your visibility trends over time, broken down by each specific AI engine.
- Data Tabs: You can navigate between three distinct tabs to view your Scan Results (Prompts), Competitor Analysis (Brands), and AI-driven Opportunities (Opportunities).
- Prompt Detail Panel: Click any row within the Scan Results table to open a side panel displaying the full response returned by the engine, with your brand highlighted.
Using these dashboard sections allows you to identify performance trends and pinpoint exactly where you need to improve your AI visibility.
Navigating Between Scans
You can view past data and track changes over time by using the scan selector tool located on the campaign page. This allows you to view the results of a single historical scan or compare two different scan dates to analyze your visibility changes.
- Locate the Selector: Click the calendar icon in the top right corner of the campaign page.
- View a Single Scan: Choose a specific date in the “Target Scan” dropdown menu.
- Compare Scans: Select a second date in the “Compare vs” menu to see the differences between the two scans.
Troubleshooting and FAQ
You can resolve common campaign issues by checking your opportunities tab or retrying failed scans. If your business is missing from results, the AI models lack enough indexed data to recommend you and require further content optimization.
- Missing Results: Review the Opportunities tab for specific content strategies to improve your data indexing.
- Sharing Reports: Click the Share icon in any campaign to generate a public link for clients without requiring an account login.
- Failed Scans: Use the Retry option in the campaign menu if an engine experiences downtime. You are not charged twice for successful parts of a partial scan.
