One credit is equal to one scan point.

If you choose to scan a square area that is 10×10, this scan will use 100 scan points and 100 credits.

The table below will show you how many credits each scan size will required.

FYI: the most common scan is Circle 13×13 over 1 Mile

Scan Size Square Credits Circle Credits
3x3 9 7
4x4 16 12
5x5 24 20
6x6 36 28
7x7 49 39
8x8 64 50
9x9 81 64
10x10 100 78
11x11 121 95
12x12 144 113
13x13 169 133
💡 Pro Tip

Circle scans are more cost-effective than Square scans because they use fewer scan points. This is because a circle has a smaller perimeter than a rectangle of the same area. Additionally, circle scans cover a wider radius, so they can capture more data. As a result, circle scans typically use fewer credits than Square scans.
