SEO Peek — Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

By installing or using the SEO Peek browser extension (“the Extension”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not install or use the Extension. The Extension is provided by Local Dominator (localdominator.co), referred to here as “we,” “us,” or “our.”

2. What SEO Peek does

SEO Peek is a free utility that audits the on-page SEO of the web page you are viewing (meta tags, headings, links, images, structured data, and social tags) and lets you preview how Google search results appear from a location you choose. It runs entirely in your browser.

3. License to use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Extension for your own SEO research and analysis, subject to these terms. We retain all rights, title, and interest in the Extension, its name, logo, and code.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Extension for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where that restriction is prohibited by law.
• Modify, redistribute, resell, or create derivative works from the Extension without our written permission.
• Use the Extension to disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any website or service.
• Use the location-preview features to misrepresent yourself in a way that violates a third party’s terms of service.

5. Third-party services

The Extension can open or send requests to third-party services you choose to use — for example Google Search, Google’s Rich Results Test, and Google PageSpeed Insights. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, their content, or their availability.

6. Privacy

Your use of the Extension is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what limited data the Extension processes (all locally, on your device) and confirms that we do not collect or transmit your data. Please replace this link with the live address of the SEO Peek Privacy Policy once published.

7. No warranty

The Extension is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. SEO data, audits, and location previews are provided for informational purposes only; we do not guarantee they are complete, accurate, or that they reflect how search engines actually rank or display any page.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Local Dominator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Extension — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Because the Extension is free, our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to zero dollars.

9. Changes and availability

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue the Extension (or any of its features) at any time, and we may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date. Continued use of the Extension after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your access to the Extension if you breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including sections 3, 7, 8, and 11) will continue to apply.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable at Local Dominator’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Please confirm the specific jurisdiction with Local Dominator before publishing.
